The Ashford Club, founded in 1984, is a private city club open to members and their invited guests.

Whether conducting meetings, hosting events, or entertaining friends, our members and their guests receive high standards of service and enjoy a variety of attractive rooms for business or social engagements. The Ashford Club is conveniently located in the Glenridge Highlands Two Building at GA-400 and the Glenridge Connector, with easy access to Buckhead and the Perimeter. We offer fine and casual dining and private meeting rooms for small and large groups. We specialize in hosting business meetings, social gatherings, rehearsal dinners, weddings, and receptions.

What is The Ashford Club?

• We are a private city club established in 1984. Our purpose is to help our members conduct and succeed in business by providing what may be considered an exclusive extension of their homes or offices.

Why join a private club when I can have business meals and meetings at
restaurants and hotels?

• Private club membership elevates your status from being “another customer” to “a valued member.” At The Ashford Club, the staff greets you by name. When you make a reservation, your table is waiting for you, not the other way around. Tables are arranged to enhance your conversational privacy--not to accommodate more customers. Meeting rooms and the services of our catering and event professionals are available to you at no additional charge.
• Private club membership connects you to the community. Members build relationships through networking and social activities year round. Mixers, seminars, and events are offered each month to help you meet the people who can help you grow your business. An optional upgrade program gives you access to country clubs, athletic clubs, and other private clubs in Atlanta and around the world.

I’ve heard that private clubs are very expensive. How do I know I can afford the club if I am approved for membership?

• Depending on the type of membership, monthly dues run between $30.00 for non-resident membership and $85.00 for individual membership. Spouses are included in individual membership. Young Professional membership dues are $65.00 per month.
• Monday through Friday we offer a member-value breakfast buffet. Lunch averages $15.00-$20.00 per person and dinner averages $35.00 per person. We also offer special theme dinners and social events with reasonable pricing.

I thought that private business and social clubs primarily cater to the over 50 crowd. What about The Ashford Club?

• We offer Young Professional memberships for ages 21-35. This group is an integral part of the club whose members enjoy educational and fun activities.

I know that some private clubs have long-term contracts and food & beverage minimums. How does The Ashford Club work?

• There is a one-time Initiation Fee and you pay dues by the month. You may cancel your membership at any time by providing a 30-day written notice. There is no food and beverage minimum. You dine at the club because you want to take advantage of the great food and service, not to meet minimum charges.

When I am not using the club for business purposes, do you have anything that my family would enjoy?

• Your spouse has full membership privileges and his or her own membership card. We offer family-oriented and seasonal events throughout the year (see Annual & Club Traditions). Most of our members enjoy celebrating their birthdays and anniversaries at the club, as well as entertaining visitors from out of town or hosting events for family and friends on special occasions.

I travel extensively in my business. I am not sure I would be able to use the club on a regular basis. Are you affiliated with any other clubs?

• The Ashford Club currently offers reciprocal privileges at over 550 private clubs world wide including country clubs, yacht clubs, tennis clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs. Locally, by upgrading to the Georgia Alliance of Private Clubs (only $40.00 per month), you can access over 20 private clubs, golf partners, and resorts in the Atlanta area.

Our dress code is business casual. While coats and ties are not required for men, given the ambience of a city club, they are not uncommon. We do request that in order to maintain our professional, yet comfortable atmosphere, that members do not wear jeans, cut-offs, tennis shoes, collarless sport shirts, shorts, or athletic attire.
